RIEGL VQ-480 II / VQ-580 II-S Airborne Laser Scanning Systems

The RIEGL VQ-480 II (Mark 2) and the RIEGL VQ-580 II-S are especially designed for airborne applications at mid altitudes. They convince with a sophisticated design that is leading the quality of the system to a new standard of performance and user-friendliness and are ideally suited for corridor mapping, city modeling, and applications in agriculture and forestry.

With approximately 10 kg of weight, the scanners perfectly fit the VQX-1 wing pod, as well as they are suitable for integration with gyro-stabilized mounts and can be used with a wide range of crewed aircraft such as helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, and ultra-light aircraft – but also ready for integration with drones that have a larger payload capacity.

They are prepared for smooth IMU/GNSS integration, offer interfaces for optional cameras and are equipped with a removable storage card and an integrated SSD for data storage.
