Product description

The GDI-DE Monitor, the latest National Technical Component of SDI Germany, serves as a quality assurance tool and is aimed at geodata providers. The aim is to enable continuous quality monitoring of all metadata in the SDI Germany.

The tool makes it possible to check compliance with the availability and conformity requirements of SDI Germany and INSPIRE. With the help of the GDI-DE Monitor, evaluations of the accessibility and usability of geodata resources can be created.

It is also possible to continuously monitor compliance with legal requirements (e.g. the INSPIRE Directive). The GDI-DE Monitor is also intended to support national geodata holders and catalogue operators in integrating their georesources into the SDI Germany and in implementing the INSPIRE Directive.
