About the Speaker

Dr. Christoph Hütt is a geoinformatics researcher at the University of Cologne specializing in UAV-based LiDAR applications. His work focuses on vegetation monitoring, biomass estimation, and innovative use of SLAM LiDAR in complex environments such as grasslands and solar parks. He combines field experiments with advanced point cloud analysis to derive plant-level traits and improve precision agriculture and environmental monitoring.
