TotaLite - simple and precise camera-based settlement monitoring
The geospatial and construction industry is in need for more effective remote and realtime monitoring tools to assess settlement and other movements of infrastructure. Especially now bridges and tunnels are approaching end of design life and construction projects become more complex while there is a shortage of skilled surveyors. Recent advances in structural monitoring make it possible to acquire realtime insights, but using total stations is costly, complex and prone to crime. On the other hands, simpler geotechnical sensor like tilt meter don't provide the true millimetric displacement information that is often needed. TotaLite is a new and innovative camera-based sensing system for remote and realtime monitoring of movements of buildings, infrastructure or slopes. TotaLite provides measurements of vertical and lateral static displacements of prism targets to an cloud-based TotaLite platform for real-time analysis and alerting TotaLite is groundbreaking solution in the instrumentation and monitoring industry being fundamentally different from existing solutions making use of pure optics with no mechnical parts. TotaLite is designed to save effort and costs while delivering robust and precise insights on movements. It’s simplicity and intelligence makes is cost-effective and accurate solution for monitoring experts and surveyors.
