Technologies and user needs are constantly evolving. The GDI-DE wants to identify trends at an early stage so that it can react appropriately to new developments and thus build up its tasks and its supply of data in a permanently user-oriented manner. Close exchange with industry and academia is essential for this. Within the GDI-DE, the working group "Advisory" obtains impulses from industry and academia and prepares them for the steering committee of the GDI-DE in such a way that concrete actions can arise from them. To this end, it organises an advisory committee together with the GDI-DE Economic Council at least once a year, bringing together stakeholders from administration, business and academia. The talk shows how the various actors can contribute to the "advisory", which topics are debated, which processes take place and what is actually implemented by the impulses.
